Here at Educational Readiness, Inc, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in ensuring inner-city males are equipped to fulfill their dreams. We are driven to succeed because we believe that our youth will only be successful if they are surrounded by committed, caring, adults. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact on all of our youth.
Activities
Educational Readiness, Inc is achieving more with our initiatives than ever before. We work on many exciting projects to help improve the lives of others, and are very proud of the progress we continue to make. Mentoring
At Educational Readiness, Inc, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue. Mentoring is a key component of our strategies. By providing consistent mentors in the lives of our youth, we are better able to identify any areas of need and provide a positive relationship to our youth.
Education
With this initiative, our goal is to empower young inner-city males to succeed in schools. The data suggests that nearly 2 out of 4 black males will drop out of high school before completing their diploma. By providing support to students upon entering high school, we can dramatically change those outcomes and increase the high school graduation rate of inner-city schools.
Emotional Learning
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge. There are several reasons why inner-city students struggle emotionally. Our team of trainers are all products of inner-city neighborhoods and have overcome many of the trials our youth face. We help identify the stressors in their lives and provide strategies to overcome and adjust any obstacles.
